The console-exclusive Ultimate Evil Edition includes all of the content from the original Diablo III, as well as new features and updates from the critically acclaimed Reaper of Souls expansion. On August 19, console gamers around the world will be able to join the crusade against death itself when Diablo ® III: Reaper of Souls ™ - Ultimate Evil Edition ™ launches on the PlayStation ® 3 and PlayStation ® 4 computer entertainment systems, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

The video shows a Crusader smashing through Act V, slaying demons and getting item upgrades. Any characters that were created in the original console Diablo III can upgrade to the Ultimate Evil Edition on their respective consoles: PS3 characters from the original game can transfer to either the PS3 or PS4 version of the Ultimate Evil Edition, and Xbox 360 characters can be transferred to the Xbox 360 or Xbox One version.Ī gameplay video of the Ultimate Evil Edition on the PS4 provides a good look at the updated interface for Diablo III on the console. The upcoming Ultimate Evil Edition is a complete Diablo III for consoles, with all the content from the Reaper of Souls Expansion, as well as the major game updates that were done in the Diablo III PC Patch 2.0. The base version of Diablo III was released in September 2013 on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. A Blizzard press release provides details about that, while a new video features Diablo III gameplay on the PlayStation 4. Diablo III characters on the PS3 and Xbox 360 can be converted into the Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition, which is coming to consoles on August 19, 2014.
